Patrick J. Fischer has spent more than 35 years helping blind and visually impaired individuals and nearly three decades building brands, websites, and online experiences.
His love for racing began at age five, and that passion eventually led him—at age 42—to launch NASCARforFUN.com in 2004, the first online fantasy racing game to accept PayPal payments and include both starting and ending lineups. The game was fully web‑based and coded so Adam, a blind employee, could independently enter the beginning and final lineup. A custom algorithm handled all calculations, automatically determining payouts for each player with complete accuracy.
In 2005, NASCAR’s legal counsel issued a cease‑and‑desist letter, and the game was shut down.
Decades later, Patrick runs Accessibility.Net, a company dedicated to serving blind, low‑vision, and visually impaired individuals with a wide range of assistive products.
He founded LargePrintCalendar.com in 2008, producing custom calendars for tens of thousands of people — from the VA and state agencies to farmers, patriots, religious organizations, and more. He also created two racing‑themed projects, BlindRally.com and RaceDayCalendar.com, now offered together as a pair.
On July 1, 2022, Patrick created the Blind Rally, which became the first autonomous race concept from California to New York featuring a two‑person team — one sighted and one blind. Today, BlindRally.com is being sold, and RaceDayCalendar.com is included at no additional cost.
Patrick’s journey began long before his digital ventures. In 1981, he started restoring classic cars, discovering a unique ability to visualize the finished product before turning the first bolt. That same visionary mindset now drives his work in brand development, video production, and website creation. <watch video announcement below>
In 1988, he launched Share Technology, volunteering his time to help individuals with disabilities learn to use computers — a commitment that laid the foundation for his lifelong mission of accessibility, innovation, and service.
